I am Beatrice Katcher, a metro Detroit-based photojournalist & writer.

I’m inspired by my experiences as an artist, a mom to two youngsters, and a wife to an awesome Web designer/record label owner. I specialize in portrait, editorial, wedding and product photography. Also, my passion for journalism and multimedia is why I chose to pursue an honors undergraduate degree in journalism at Wayne State University.

My writing and photographic work has been featured in various publications, including BLAC Detroit Magazine, Hour Detroit Magazine, Metro Parent, Detroit Home Magazine, The Detroit News, The Detroit Free Press, Metropolis Magazine (Japan), Real Detroit Weekly, GrossePointeToday.com, and The South End.
